"Living Hope"

I discovered a lump in my breast at age 42. An ultrasound and biopsy diagnosed it, and an MRI validated the diagnosis of breast cancer. I had a double mastectomy immediately, then chemotherapy, and biologic treatment. Plastic surgery rebuilt me physically, but my family, friends, and co-workers rebuilt me emotionally. I am forever grateful for the amazing care and treatment that the Cleveland Clinic gave me. I am proud to be a Cleveland Clinic Nurse in the Emergency Department!
