"Living Hope"

This year I ride for me. This will be my 4th VeloSano, and it is something I look forward to every year. In late January of this year (2022), I was diagnosed with PALB2 breast cancer. After my lumpectomy, I was also diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome. These 2 genetic mutations put me at higher risks for a number of cancers. I will finish up chemotherapy a couple weeks before this years ride~ I hope I have the energy and stamina to complete the ride! After the ride, I will have some big surgeries to hopefully prevent future cancers and recurrence of the breast cancer. I have a team riding with me this year, and hope to have a big cheer squad at the finish line!
